COASTGUARD teams from Greenock and Dunoon joined their colleagues from across the country for a major training exercise which saw a bus submerged in the Clyde.
Teams gathered earlier this week in Glasgow to take part in Exercise Mini Fall, which simulated a road traffic collision, with a minibus lowered into the river.
Groups involved included coastguard rescue teams from Helensburgh, Ardrossan, Greenock and Dunoon as well as Belfast Coastguard and a rescue helicopter.
They worked alongside the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Police Scotland, RNLI Helensburgh, Glasgow Humane Society and University of Glasgow partners to 'rescue' all 'casualties' involved.
Following the exercise the teams debriefed and discussed what they had learned from working through the scenarios they were presented with.
