A MAJESTIC Cunard cruise liner will visit Greenock for the first time in nearly a decade later this year.
The 150-000 tonne Queen Mary 2 will call at the Ocean Terminal on September 5 as part of a 12-day British Isles cruise.
Thousands flocked to the Esplanade during her last visit in May 2015, which saw a fireworks display held as she departed at night.
The vessel is not the only Cunard ship due to visit this year.
The brand new, 113,000 tonne Queen Anne liner will stop off at Greenock twice this year, on June 1 and July 26.
