A WORTHY local cause is celebrating girl power with the return of a much loved event.
Ardgowan Hospice's Girls' Day Out will take place at The Chartroom in Inverkip on June 2 this year between 1pm and 6pm.
The event, which is sponsored by VA Business Solutions and A&I Geotechnical, will be hosted by broadcaster Gina McKie and will feature performances of popular girl band hits from the last few decades by music group Sugahoneyz.

Hospice fundraising officer Laura Wilson said: "We're delighted to announce the return of our much loved Girls' Day Out event at The Chartroom this June.
"It's guaranteed to be a lively day filled with fantastic local businesses at our indoor market and more.
"We look forward to the ladies of Inverclyde joining us for an unforgettable day while raising vital funds for the hospice!"
