A PROPOSED development of new flats in Gourock has been turned down by planners.
Permission had been sought for nine flats and a retail unit for a cleared gap site on Shore Street.
But council officials said the applicants hadn't shown that the development would not have an adverse impact on flood risk.
Shore Street has frequently been affected by flooding over the years.
