GOUROCK DJ Bruce Glenny hit the decks on board super yacht Galaxy during a swimwear launch party in Florida.

The local music producer took part in the fashion event while the super yacht was berthed in Florida for Miami Music week.

The fashion event is part of the Miami Music Week and Ultra Miami Festival which runs from 22 to 24 March.

The event claims to be the world's premier electronic music festival, boasting elite DJs from around the world including Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix and David Guetta.

The swimwear event was for the launch of Fae Swimwear’s latest collection, starring rising fashion model Natasja Madsen.

Bruce said: "My thanks go to Steven Webster, Galaxy chief engineer, for the invitation to perform.

“This was a huge event with worldwide interest in the swimwear range, models and DJs.

“I played a range of new unreleased material such as my latest track ‘The Underground’ in collaboration with Blueboy & Dash from London.

“It was an incredible opportunity to promote my music and hopefully it will open up the chance to play at other festivals and clubs around the globe.

“Meantime I’ve a busy summer ahead playing SWG3 Glasgow, Ibiza, the TRNSMT festival and of course Terraza del Clyde, Gourock.”

Bruce also made a guest appearance with Rothesay-born DJ KC Lights at the Esme Hotel on Miami Beach.

Bruce said: “Playing on the Esme rooftop was a great experience made even better by the reaction I got to my own tracks.”

Bruce plays SWG3 Glasgow on April 20 and Terraza Del Clyde on June 1 at Royal Gourock Yacht Club.
