BLIND and partially sighted Greenock residents will have the chance to access in-person support at a charity event next week.
The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) will visit Westburn Parish Church on Monday from 10am until 2pm.
The charity will offer support at a VisionZone event hosted by Optelec UK – a manufacturer of assistive technology and low vision aids.
VisionZone events aim to highlight a range of local support services.
Visitors will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with accessible products and technology, such as magnifiers and kitchen aids.
