A THIRD man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Michael Beaton in Greenock.
Mr Beaton, 35, was found with serious injuries on Drumfrochar Road in November last year.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he died a few hours later.
A 19-year-old man has been charged and is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court today.
In December last year, 25-year-old Alexander McQuillan appeared in court charged with murder, as well as threatening or abusive behaviour and theft of a motor vehicle.
A few weeks later, Lewis Wiggins, 22, was charged with murder, attempted murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
