AN award-winning cycling business is expanding into Inverclyde.
Ian and Julie Stokes, the owners of Spokes Bikes in Bridge of Weir, have opened a shop in Eldon Street in Greenock, just across from Battery Park.
Spokes Bikes started as a mobile cycle repair service covering Renfrewshire and the north of Inverclyde back in 2020.
Ian and Julie opened the Bridge of Weir shop in 2021 and expanded into the shop next door in 2022.
The business scooped the 'most promising new business' title at the Renfrewshire ROCCO awards in 2023.
The couple said they're looking forward to welcoming Inverclyde customers.
Julie added: "As we already had a number of loyal customers in Inverclyde using our services, we thought there may be demand for an independent bike shop to be based there.
"We’ll be bringing our ethos of great customer service to Greenock, along with a good range of bikes for all ages and abilities."
The store will also offer repairs service, cycle advice, demo rides, and bike rentals.
