A GREENOCK man breached a bail order to stay away from a named woman and confronted her on street in the town, it is alleged.
Kevin McAulay, 41, had been ordered by a sheriff not to approach or contact, or attempt to do so, in any way as a condition of being allowed his liberty on a charge in January 2022.
Prosecutors say he flouted the directive on November 15 that year by approaching the woman on Tasker Street, shouting, swearing and blocking the path of her vehicle.
McAulay, of Gael Street, has pleaded not guilty through lawyer Aidan Gallagher with the case due to call again on April 30, ahead of a trial scheduled for May 15.
