A MAN has been charged with taking a Mercedes car without its owner's consent and driving it in Greenock whilst twice the booze limit.
Victor Udoh, 27, whom prosecutors say doesn't have a driving licence, is said to have committed the alleged offences at Wellpark Buildings and Regent Street in the town on November 8 last year.
Udoh, whose address was not given in court, is also charged with driving without insurance.
The case has been continued without plea at the sheriff court until May 3.
