THE go-ahead has been given for a new wine bar to open in Inverclyde.
Council planners have given permission for the change of use at the ex-Domus Interiors premises on Gourock's Kempock Street.
The wine bar, which is also to sell cold food, will be open from noon to midnight, seven days a week and have capacity for 40 people.
In their decision notice planners stated: 'The proposal would make use of an existing unit which would otherwise be vacant, and in economic development and employment terms this is welcomed.'
