INSPIRATIONAL Inverclyde artists are showcasing their skills in a dynamic display of their colourful creations.
Members of Greenock Art Club are hosting their spring exhibition at The Stables Studio in Gourock Park.
The showcase runs until Sunday.
A total of 26 artists are involved this year, and organisers have assembled an impressive selection of 78 paintings across a wide range of styles.
Club treasurer Robert Marshall says the exhibition has been a great success.
He said: "We've sold a lot of paintings already, more than we were expecting.
"It has been going really well. Opening night on April 12 was totally packed and we've had a steady stream of people coming in to have a look."
Founded in 1877, the club currently has 84 members.
The team organises three exhibitions a year to give artists the chance to present as much of their work as possible.
This latest collection of paintings includes works across a variety of media including oils, acrylics, pen and ink, watercolour and charcoal.
Robert praised the breadth of style on show.
He added: "All of the artists chose what they wanted to exhibit and it's all brand new work.
"We've had a lot of positive feedback from people."
A team of art club members and volunteers have been staffing the exhibition every day.
Robert says it shows their dedication to the club.
He told the Tele: "The best part of being in the club is getting the chance to meet like-minded folk.
"You learn a lot from other artists and gain the confidence to develop your own style."
*The exhibition will run at The Stables Studio in Gourock Park up until 5pm on Sunday. It is open from 11am-5pm every day, and until 8pm on a Thursday.
