SKODA have improved the specifications of the Karoq SUV and Fabia supermini.

Additional features on all Karoq models include lane assist, advanced driver attention and drowsiness monitor, powered child lock and traffic sign recognition.

Other enhancements include a 10.25inch Virtual Cockpit and wireless smartphone charging for the entry model 1.0 TSI SE Drive which costs £28,380.

A new version of the 1.0 TSI engine has been introduced which is slightly more powerful at 114bhp and is claimed to be more efficient. This engine is also available in the Fabia.

The latest Fabia range costs from £19,730 for the 1.0 MPI 79bhp SE Comfort.

New features on the Fabia include the SE Comfort receiving a digital display in place of the previous analogue unit, a front centre armrest and an additional two rear speakers, and the SE L versions getting a Virtual Cockpit, hill hold and rear side privacy glass.
