SHETLAND cast and crew are on location shooting scenes in Loch Thom today.
Filming for the hit BBC drama, starring Ashley Jensen in the lead role as Detective Inspector Ruth Calder, and Alison O'Donnell as Alison 'Tosh' McIntosh, has been taking place at the beauty spot.
A large fleet of production trucks was spotted at the spectacular countryside location.
Many scenes for the show have been shot locally over the years.
Earlier this year stars were spotted filming at the RAF Club and Tontine Hotel on Ardgowan Square.
