A MAN with a 'problematic history of drug use' has been placed on a supervision order after being caught with class A substances in Greenock.
Larri Goodlad was found in possession of heroin and cocaine on June 9, 2022 at an address on the town's Brachelston Street.
The 27-year-old pleaded guilty to the offences but was cleared of two further charges alleging that he had heroin with intent to supply on the previous day and cannabis at a flat on Mount Pleasant Street in November that year.
A background report prepared for a sentencing hearing at the sheriff court 'outlined a history of problematic drug use', according to Sheriff Anthony McGeehan.
Goodlad, of Main Street in Inverkip, was placed on a community payback order with a requirement for six months of social work supervision.
