AN alleged weapon-wielding bail breach offender is charged with chasing a man and a woman while in possession of a knife.
Bernard Cuffe, of Wilson Street in Port Glasgow, is said to have acted aggressively towards the pair whilst carrying a blade on November 18 last year.
It is claimed that Cuffe, 51, shouted, swore, threatened the complainers with violence and pursued them.
He is accused of having unlawful possession of a knife in public without reasonable excuse and it is alleged that he was subject to bail conditions at the time.
The accused, represented by Aidan Gallagher, pleaded not guilty and has been told not to approach or contact the two alleged victims before a trial on September 5.
