THE new £1.5 million pound Greggs drive-through in Greenock is closed to vehicles again this morning due to another card payment glitch.

Customers were told by staff they were taking cash only payments at the tills in store.

It is the second time just more than six weeks that the takeaway outlet has been hit with the same issue.

Traffic cones have been laid out blocking entry to the shop, with customers having to make their way to the premises on foot.

It was reported earlier this year that Greggs across the country had experienced  ongoing issues accepting payments by card.

The Inverclyde outlet opened in early March and is Greggs' bigget drive-through in Scotland, employing more that 20 staff.
