A GREENOCK man charged with carrying a blade in the street is set to face the allegation at trial at the sheriff court.

Keiran O’Donnell is accused of having unlawful possession of a knife at Wren Road on September 3 last year.

According to court papers, the 24-year-old was subject to bail conditions relating to a separate matter at the time of the alleged offence.

O’Donnell, of Grieve Road, has pleaded not guilty through solicitor Paul Cook.

He is due to return to the dock for a summary trial in October.
