A LANE closure will be in place on the A8 in Greenock this weekend to allow for the clearance of litter.
Work will be carried out on Port Glasgow Road and East Hamilton Street between Bogston and Cartsdyke Roundabout on Sunday, August 11.
The lane closure will be in effect from 6:30am until 2pm.
Inverclyde Council says the work has been timed to take place while traffic is quieter to minimise the impact on road users.
Other sections of the A8 have been subject to lane closures for similar work on Sundays throughout July.
This weekend's closure is the last to feature on the council's scheduled list.
