A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of a man accused of threatening and abusive behaviour at a Port Glasgow home.
Derek King failed to turn up for a hearing at Greenock Sheriff Court to face an allegation that he shouted, swore and threatened to damage a window at a property on Auchenbothie Road.
The alleged offence is said to have been committed on March 4 last year.
According to the Crown, the 30-year-old was the subject of a bail order at the time.
Lawyer Gerry Keenan said he had no explanation for his client’s absence at the latest calling of the case, and Sheriff Sean Lynch granted a warrant to apprehend.
