A MAN is to stand trial on allegations that he repeatedly threatened his former partner over a period of almost 18 months.
Kieran Tominey, 33, denies engaging in a course of conduct which was abusive of the woman at an address in Port Glasgow.
It is alleged that the behaviour took place between August 2021 and March 2023.
Tominey is accused of repeatedly sending letters to the woman’s home in which he made violent threats.
Prosecutors say he made similar threats by email, as well as threatening to attend her property.
The charge further alleges that Tominey, of Blantyre, repeatedly sent messages via Facebook Messenger which contained offensive remarks.
He is due to stand trial at Greenock Sheriff Court on October 10.
