A RUSH hour crash on a busy road between Port Glasgow and Greenock this morning has left a vehicle and a nearby wall badly damaged.
Police say they were called to a report of a car which had collided with a wall on Greenock Road at around 7:55am.
Motorists on the westbound side of Greenock Road were forced to slow as they passed the scene of the incident this morning.
The white car's front bumper sustained heavy damage and a section of wall nearby looked to have collapsed.
Police and ambulance staff were on the scene shortly before 8am to assist those involved in the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.55am on Thursday, 5 September 2024, we were called to a report of a car having collided with a wall in the Greenock Road area of Port Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and arrangements are being made to uplift the vehicle and clear the area.”
