AN individual was arrested following a manhunt in Greenock which prompted a huge police presence at the former IBM site on Sunday evening.
All four entrances to the Inverkip Road site were blocked off by police vehicles from around 6.30pm on September 15.
Police Scotland confirmed on Monday that a 23-year-old man was arrested in connection with an outstanding warrant following the area-wide response.
Eight vehicles were stationed at the entrances to the site and a helicopter circled overhead.
The man is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.45pm on Sunday, September 15, a 23-year-old man was arrested in the Greenock area in connection with an outstanding warrant.
"He is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Monday, September 16."
