A TEAM of brave fundraisers have raked in more than £4,000 for an Inverclyde charity after taking on a 100-feet high zipline.
Fifteen people, aged between 10 and 70, completed the challenge earlier this month in aid of Ardgowan Hospice.
The zipline ran along the River Clyde, with the fundraisers launching from a crane near the Riverside Museum.
Among those who took part were hospice care assistant Julie Ross and 12-year-old schoolgirl Summer Brown – who also roped in parents Jo-Anne and Alan.
The event saw a total of £4,269 raised to support the charity's work across Inverclyde.
Fundraising assistant Leonna Gallacher said: “Thank you to everyone who joined us for the zipline over the Clyde.
"It was a great afternoon with plenty of laughter (and screams!).
“Most importantly we are delighted with the total raised from this challenge which could help towards caring for our patients out in the community for a full week."
