A GREENOCK man is to stand trial in the new year after he denied breaking into an Inverclyde school and stealing a sum of money.
Connor Mahon, 22, is accused of entering Notre Dame High School on Dunlop Street on December 2, 2022.
It is alleged he breached a bail order in committing the offence by failing to comply with a curfew condition.
Mahon, of Hay Street, is also charged with breaking into Greenock Morton Supporters Club on Regent Street on December 6, 2022 and stealing several bottles of alcohol.
A further charge alleges that he broke into the same premises the following day with intent to steal.
Gerry Keenan, defending, told Greenock Sheriff Court his client was pleading not guilty to all four charges against him.
He is due to stand trial on January 28 next year.
