A LEADING boys football club in Inverclyde has stepped in to donate cash to a charity fighting poverty in Inverclyde.
St Andrew's Boys Club handed over £250 to Children in Poverty Inverclyde from their annual fundraising sports dinner.
Children in Poverty Inverclyde trustee John McGovern said: "We are delighted and very grateful for this kind donation presented by Daniel on behalf of St Andrews Boys Club.
"Donations are vitally important for the charity to continue to support local children who are less fortunate.
"These funds will go a long way in supporting Christmas panto tickets, vouchers, Easter Eggs, as well as winter jackets and clothes."
Children In Poverty Inverclyde was set up to send children on much needed family holidays.
