AN INVERCLYDE charity has been awarded a £1,500 grant to support its community activities.
A share of Inverclyde Council's Community Grants Fund was recently given to the Kidron Project.
The organisation provides opportunities for people in crisis in Inverclyde by running free courses, activities and workshops.
The money will go towards materials for a community course and venue hire.
Following a meeting of the Community Grants Fund sub-committee last month, more than £250,000 was shared amongst 100 groups in Inverclyde.
