THE Kilmacolm and Port Glasgow Agricultural Society has received a £1,500 cash boost.
Organisers of the popular annual show were given the money from Inverclyde Council's Community Grants Fund.
The show which is held at the Knapps in May attracts thousands of visitors every year.
The grant will be used to support the costs for enhancing the education area and entertainment within the show.
This year's show saw around 5,000 come along to the Knapps to enjoy a whole host of activities and events.
Next year's show will be the event's 190th edition and is expected to be another smash hit with locals.
