Greenock Model Yacht and Powerboat Club is on the crest of a wave after scooping £1,500 from council bosses.
The group are delighted with the grant from Inverclyde Council's Community Grants fund sub-committee.
The grant will be used to repair and replace sections of the roof and guttering.
The historic club was founded in 1874 and uses the clubhouse in Murdieston Park, which also dates back to the late 1870s.
The club has more than 30 members who sail various class of yachts three times a week, and scale boats twice a week. It also regularly hosts regional and national regattas.
