SUCCESFUL completion of an eight-week programme has been celebrated by Morton in the Community.

The 'Off the Bench' initiative ran the Cashback for Communities programme.

Throughout the course, it included talks on gambling, drugs and alcohol, and support from Progressive Pathways every Thursday.

A typical day involved a 10am start, breakfast, and worksheet completion before afternoon football at the Octavia.

Aidan Crawford, STEM lead and community coach, said: "It's good to see at the start when the customers come in and are maybe a wee bit shy and won't talk to us but at the end of it we've made good friends with them."
