MORTON in the Community will host a special football camp at the end of this month to raise funds for the neonatal unit at Wishaw General Hospital.
The event will take place on Monday, September 29, and all proceeds will go to support the unit, which cared for Ton boss Dougie Imrie and his partner Lauren's baby daughter Remi, who was born 14 weeks premature at the end of July and who passed away just 20 days later, on August 19.
Organisers say the fundraiser is a way of showing appreciation for the exceptional support given to baby Remi, Dougie, and their loved ones.
Participants can sign up online, and the community is being encouraged to get involved and help give back to a vital service that supports families at their most vulnerable.
