ONE of Inverclyde's most successful businesses has won a coveted UK award for 'outstanding' customer service.
Wemyss Bay car dealer Pearson's has been recognised by its partners Suzuki UK as a trusted brand after receiving a high satisfaction ratings from their extremely loyal customer base.
The family-run business was established 125 years ago and has helped keep people across Inverclyde and beyond on the road ever since.
Owner David Pearson and his sales manager Kenny Hyde spoke of their pride after securing the 'Suzuki UK National Customer Experience' award recently.

Managing director David Pearson went to Dublin with his son Ross at the end of last year to pick up the gong.
He said: "We are extremely proud to have won this award.
"As the oldest established dealer in the Suzuki UK network, we have always taken great pride in treating our customers in the best way possible.
"This award is fantastic recognition of what we strive to do every day, and I would like to extend my thanks to the entire team here at Pearson Suzuki as well as to our loyal customers.
"This is a great way for us to finish 2025 and we plan to continue doing what we do best in 2026."
Pearson's trades on trust with a huge emphasis on sales and after sales care and has been part of Suzuki for the last 30 years.

In that time the Japanese car firm has grown its share of the UK market, and has a very strong presence locally thanks to Pearson.
Sales manager Kenny Hyde has worked for the Wemyss Bay firm for 35 years and was recognised himself by Suzuki nine years ago for his first class service.
He said: "Our relationship with Suzuki is very important. We are a trusted brand, our customers come back time and time again. Being one of the only franchises locally, it is so important people trust us.
"Suzuki is also like a family, we have a very strong partnership with them."
The Wemyss car dealers continue to be a trusted choice for customers locally in an ever-changing industry.
Sales manager Kenny Hyde added: "We are continuing to look after our customers, we scored highly in customer feed back and that is so important to us."
The family business was set up in 1901 and has continually grown and expanded with its loyal and much valued team of over 30 staff, many of whom have had over 40 years service.
