A POPULAR cafe in Greenock has closed its doors after three years.
Bluebell Cafe, based in the Oak Mall Shopping Centre, served its last customers on Saturday, January 31.
The owners made the 'very hard decision' to close in order to create 'a healthier work-life balance'.
A spokesperson said: "This has been a very hard decision and certainly not an easy one to make.
"Our decision comes as we will be opening a new café closer to home, allowing us more time with our two wee granddaughters, our kids, and all our family."
They will now be relocating to Erskine.
The owners thanked people for their support over the past three years.
They said: "Most places close due to lack of customers, but as you all know, that has never been the case for our wee café.
"We have been overwhelmingly busy, and we are incredibly grateful for that."
