A CRUISE ship which boasts ocean-view pickleball courts and a Memphis-style blues club has arrived at Greenock Cruise Port.

Nieuw Statendam sailed into Inverclyde this morning.

Operated by Holland America Line, the vessel was launched in 2018, and has arrived in Greenock on one of four scheduled visits this cruise season.

She can carry 2,666 passengers and 1,025 crew, and has a gross tonnage of 99,500.

The 975ft-long ship has 1,059 outside cabins, and 280 inside cabins, and offers accommodation and facilities across 14 decks.

Nieuw Statendam arrived in Greenock from Belfast, will be making her way to Liverpool, Dublin, Cork, Portland and Dover where the cruise finishes on May 15.
