A monthly cafe is urging people to talk more openly about grief and death.
Ardgowan Hospice and Inverclyde HSCP and Inverclyde Libraries are hosting a monthly Death Cafe, with the next event set to take place in Kilmacolm Library on Tuesday, May 26, from 10am to 12pm.
This event promises attendees an opportunity to have a cup of tea and take part in an open conversation on topics generally regarded by society as taboo.
Aimed at making discussions surrounding death, dying, and the subsequent grief part of a broader social narrative, the Death Café seeks to foster a deeper sense of comfort and confidence in discussing these subjects.
The drop-in sessions guided by a representative from the Ardgowan Hospice Wellbeing Team will not require any prior registration.
