TALENTED local musicians entertained commuters at one of Inverclyde’s most famous landmarks.
The Wemyss Bay station live music showcase returned to the village for the fourth year running and filled the travel hub will fantastic tunes.
A total of six bands put on an amazing show throughout the day.
Jars and Co, Scowlin’ Wolf, Lodestone, Burnside Collective, The Bison Duck Band, and Ayrshire Ukes all performed for the audience.
Network Rail and ScotRail gave the go-ahead for the live music, and sounds filled the station from 11am until 4pm.
Bands played a wide variety of styles including blues, soul, folk, country, bluegrass, Americana, and Scottish.
All donations made on the day will go to ScotRail’s charity partner Age Scotland.
Organiser Millen Mathew, who plays as part of The Bison Duck Band, said the event was a great success.
Millen said: “It’s nice for people to have live music.
“Wemyss Bay station has amazing acoustics and it's a beautiful venue.
“It’s really popular with local people and we get a lot of people coming along every year.
“It’s great to just sit for the day and listen.
“We will definitely do it again next year.”
