A SUSPECT is to stand trial charged with the murder of a man at Wemyss Bay Holiday Park.
Sean Ward, 22, allegedly killed Raymond Cosgrove in a knife attack in September 2025.
The incident is said to have occurred in a caravan in Rothesay Gardens at the Parkdean resort.
Prosecutors claim Ward repeatedly struck and stabbed the 33-year-old on the body with a blade or similar weapon.
The indictment states Mr Cosgrove was left so badly hurt that he died there.
Ward faces a separate charge of assaulting a woman there.
Other accusations include a further claim that he attacked a man with an axe in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire in May 2025.
Lawyers for Ward pleaded not guilty on his behalf during a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.
A trial was set and is scheduled to begin in September 2027.
In reports of the incident at the time, a spokesperson for Wemyss Bay Holiday Park said they could not comment on the investigation, but that they extended their "deepest condolences" to the family of Mr Cosgrove.
