A MAGICAL academy is coming to life this summer in a one-of-a-kind family adventure.
The Enchanted Games, set in the grounds of Kelburn Castle and Estate, will transport visitors into a world of wizardry and wonder from August 1 to 23.
Under the theme of the Kelburn School of Sorcery, the event invites children and families to take part in an immersive magical tournament that goes beyond the traditional nature trail.
Instead of wandering passively, visitors will represent Kelburn in a series of challenges against "rival wizarding schools from around the world."
Guided by a team of eccentric, live-action professors stationed throughout the grounds, participants—described as "students"—will face five magical trials designed to test teamwork, quick thinking, accuracy, creativity, and strategy.
The experience culminates in a grand finale ceremony where scores are revealed and the champions of the Enchanted Games are celebrated.
Organisers say the event blends fantasy storytelling with hands-on outdoor play, "encouraging children to think on their feet, work together, and become the heroes of their own magical story."
Two sessions run daily, from 10am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 3.30pm.
Tickets are priced at £14.50, with children aged three and under admitted free of charge, and include all-day parking and access to the wider Kelburn estate.
Visitors are encouraged to explore the dramatic waterfall glen and adventure play areas before or after their session.
Costumes are highly encouraged to help bring the magic to life.
