A NEW event will offer women in the community a chance to express themselves through creativity and connection.

The Women's Wellbeing Collective - Inverclyde is hosting a free arts and crafts workshop on Wednesday, August 5, at The Old Library on King Street, Gourock, from 6pm to 8pm.

The event is delivered in partnership with Inverclyde Climate Action Network (ICAN) as part of the Future Inverclyde project.

Participants are encouraged to explore themes of Inverclyde, climate change, and womanhood through mixed-media activities.

All materials will be provided, though attendees may bring personal items to incorporate into their work.

Finished pieces may be included in a wider exhibition taking place later in the year.
