AN oil painting masterclass is set to take place in Greenock next month, offering hands-on guidance from a professional artist.
Led by Anna Burgess, the workshop will be held at RIG Arts' studios and is open to participants aged 18 and over.
The four-hour session will run from 11am to 3pm on Sunday, September 13 at RIG Arts' new base at the Pirrie Hall, in the Old West Kirk on Campbell Street.
The workshop is designed for both complete beginners and those with some painting experience.
It will cover essential oil painting techniques, colour mixing, and paint handling, as well as creating depth, texture, light, and atmosphere, and will include demonstrations, step-by-step guidance, and individual feedback.
