A MAN will stand trial next year charged with raping a woman on a cruise ship.
Ngakan Putra is said to have carried out the alleged sex attack on the Mein Schiff 3 boat on June 11 last year.
The ship was sailing between Belfast and Greenock at the time.
Prosecutors claim the 29-year-old did enter the woman's cabin uninvited.
The indictment further includes allegations that Putra took her mobile phone from her possession, kissed and touched her as well as grabbed the female's hand.
It is also said he removed the woman's clothes before raping her.

A hearing took place at the High Court in Glasgow today.
Putra's legal team pleaded not guilty on his behalf.
A trial was fixed and it is set to start in June 2027 in Paisley.
The 99,430-tonnage Mein Schiff 3 vessel is operated by TUI Cruises.
On June 11, 2025, she stopped off in Greenock as part of a 12-day round trip of the UK.
