Wellington Park Bowling Club hosts singles final matches

A BOWLING club is preparing for a week of finals.

Wellington Park Bowling Club is set to host the concluding matches of its singles competitions, with two finals scheduled in the coming days.

George Wilson will face David Palmer in the President's Cup final on Wednesday, September 9, at 6pm.

He will return to the green for the Club Championship Final against Iain MacSwan on Sunday, September 13, at 3pm.

The club is encouraging members and supporters to attend and cheer on the players, with hopes for dry weather.

Both matches mark the end of this year’s singles competitions and are considered highlights of the club’s calendar.
