AN assault-accused denies seizing a woman by the neck, pushing her to the ground, and repeatedly striking her head off the ground.
William Duff, 65, is also alleged to have pushed the woman against a door frame.
The incident is said to have taken place on May 2, 2025, at Fife Road in Greenock.
Duff, of the town's Armadale Place, has pleaded not guilty.
He is set to stand trial on November 2. His previously granted bail order has been continued.
