Unpaid carers' art to be celebrated at Inverclyde exhibition

The 'Create & Connect: The Carers' Art Exhibition 2026' will showcase a variety of artwork created by carers from across Inverclyde.

The exhibition, run by Carers Gateway Inverclyde, will be open on September 29 from 10am to 2pm at Rig Arts, Pirrie Hall, Greenock, and is free for all to attend.

The displayed artwork, inspired by friendship, wellbeing, and resilience, was produced during Create and Connect sessions.

The collection includes different types of art such as painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media.

According to organisers, the event not only highlights the creativity of the carers but also shares their personal stories.

A spokesperson said: “Come along, connect with others, and celebrate the creativity and experiences of unpaid carers."

The exhibition invites everyone from carers, family members, professionals, to community members to join in recognising the achievements of these carers.
