Big-hearted musicians from all over Inverclyde and beyond are gathering together this Saturday to raise money for animals in need.
Royal Gourock Yacht Club is hosting a day-long fundraiser full of amazing tunes, all in aid of Underheugh Ark.
The bands and artists performing on the day include The Urban Folkers, Simon Fulton, Moovin' Waves, One Foot in the Groove, A Wee Bit O’ Flung Aboot, Who’s Stoned, The Desperate Dans, Blackcurrant, and Two Gallon Bratz.
Well-known Inverclyde musician Dave Currie will be sound engineer on the day.
The fantastic fundraiser has been organised by local singer and musician Arlene Casimiro-Nicol.
Arlene is thrilled to have put together an amazing line-up for the day and said she wants to raise as much money as possible.
She added: “This is an amazing charity.
“They do such a great job and work relentlessly in the community to help animals in need.
“I’m always aware of how much work they do and I just want to do what I can to help.
“We’re hoping to raise as much money as we can for them.”
Arlene thanked all of the musicians for getting involved, everyone who has donated raffle prizes, and RIG Arts for donation a drum kit.
She added: “Without all of this support, this event would not be possible.”
Guests will get the chance to enjoy a barbecue and a raffle on the day.
Doors open at 12.15pm and bands will be playing until midnight.
Entry is a £10 donation on the door.
