A FORMER Kilmacolm pupil has made his debut performance on Strictly Come Dancing.
Emmerdale star Lawrence Robb took to the dancefloor for the first time with professional partner Jowita Przystal as the pair performed a paso doble to Harry Styles' Aperture.
The Scottish actor, who attended St Columba's School in Kilmacolm, earned a total score of 20 from the judges for his first routine.
Craig Revel Horwood awarded Robb four points, while Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas each scored him five and Anton Du Beke gave him six.
The judges praised the actor's performance skills while also offering advice on his dancing technique.
Motsi called for more 'control', particularly in his shoulders, while Shirley praised his 'opening line'.
Anton said Robb needed 'better shaping', while Craig described his performance as 'very square' and said it lacked a 'Spanish line'.
Robb, best known for playing Mackenzie Boyd in ITV soap Emmerdale, first discovered his passion for acting while appearing in a Christmas pantomime at St Columba's when he was 14.
He later studied at the Royal Scottish Academy before going on to secure roles on stage and screen.
