CHRISTMAS shoppers are being invited to kick off the festive season at a new Christmas Fayre being organised by Ardgowan Hospice in Greenock.

The event will take place at Greenock Town Hall on Sunday, December 6 from 11am until 3pm.

Organisers say visitors can expect a variety of stalls from Ardgowan Hospice and local businesses, offering festive gifts, food and seasonal products in the run-up to Christmas.

There will also be live entertainment, games and refreshments throughout the day, creating a family-friendly festive atmosphere in the town hall.

A particular highlight for younger visitors will be the opportunity to meet Santa Claus at a special pop-up grotto.

Entry is £3 per person, while children under the age of 12 can attend free of charge.
