A NEW creative programme is offering young people a chance to develop skills in puppetry and performance.

RIG Arts is launching Folklore, Puppetry & Performance, a 12-week workshop series for young people aged 12 to 18 in Greenock.

The sessions will run at RIG Studios, Pirrie Hall, Campbell Street, every Wednesday from November 4.

Designed for those who may find mainstream education challenging, the programme will be led by artist Frieda Ford and will explore mythology, storytelling, and collaborative art-making.

The workshops aim to help young people reflect on personal experiences, local identity, and pride through creative activities.

There will also be a focus on teamwork and self-expression.

Workshops are free to attend and open to all young people aged 12 to 18.

Registration is available through the RIG Arts website.
