THE organisers of the Beacon Book Festival have confirmed that the event will return to Greenock for a second year in 2027.

Next year's event will run from February 18-21 at the Beacon Arts Centre.

The announcement follows a successful 2026 festival, which featured high-profile names including Damian Barr, Justin Currie, Christopher Brookmyre, Denise Mina, Louise Welsh, Kirsty Logan, The Hebridean Baker, Ross Collins, Anne Pettigrew and Ken MacLeod.

Further details on authors, events and tickets will be revealed on the Beacon's website and social media over the next few months.
