BRITISH Gas Energy Trust will hold three free energy advice events in Inverclyde between November and December.

The sessions are open to all residents, regardless of their energy supplier.

Advisers from the Trust and Financial Fitness will offer confidential help with energy debt, energy-saving tips, budgeting, income maximisation and benefits checks.

Visitors can also receive free energy-saving devices and information about energy debt grants and other support schemes.

Events are scheduled at Cloch Housing Association, 19 Bogle Street, Greenock, from 10am to 1pm on November 5; Oaktree Housing Association, 40 West Stewart Street, Greenock, on November 18; and Your Voice, 51 Hamilton Way, Greenock, on December 3.

Each event runs from 10am to 1pm.
